Unlike a few of the more "flashy" Strider
hats, this one is designed for shooters-
plus we've put together a little bonus pack.
The tan hat has Velcro panels front and back
and a small Velcro square on top to lock
your hearing protection in place.
At the suggestion of one of the Strider
armorers, we've included a micro M4/AR/M16
armorer's kit. The kit includes the
key pieces to your rifle that are most
likely to need replacement in the field:
An extractor, extractor retaining pin, 3
bolt gas rings, a firing pin retaining pin,
and extractor spring assembly (with rubber
tip).
The idea is that you stitch, tape or glue the
small baggie of parts in the sweat band of
your hat and that way they are always with
you. You could also tape them into
your helmet, or stow them on your rifle in
pistol grip... whatever works. |
