This new Strider was designed for, and with
the input of, the US Air Force Special
Operations Command. Named the AFSOC,
this is essentially a modified BT / SS
(Spine Serrations). Mods to the BT
design include a larger guard and the "skull
crusher" pommel. The pommel also could
serve as a screw driver, small pry tool, or
less lethal impact device.
These are from the actual production run
done for the Air Force contract. When
we heard Strider was doing another batch for
the AFSOC we added a few to the run because
we knew they would be popular with our
customers.
Only a few of each color cord wrap are
available though, so if you're interested we
suggest you get to it. These most
likely won't be done again until there is
another AFSOC contract.
