These
plates have NO writing on them. Paca calls them III+ on their website,
as it was explained to me because it goes just above NIJ and DOD
standards at 7.62x54 multi-hit protection. The backer is the same all
over the entire plate, kind of a bonded material that is soft to the
touch. These normally retail at $329.00 each. They are all fully covered
by PACA/Point Blank. They are all black in color. Plates, unlike soft
armor, don't have expiration dates, so they never go bad. These are all
fairly recent builds.

Modular Plate Carrier is a basic carrier that is covered in MOLLE
compatible 1" webbing. It comes in only one size and makes use of
internal keepers to hold nearly any size ballistic plate in the proper
position; high on the chest/back and centered. The back of the carrier
and shoulder straps are covered in moisture wicking Drilex for added
comfort. The side adjustment straps are 2" heavy duty elastic to allow
the carrier the slightest bit of give while worn. To keep the Plate
Carrier as streamlined and snag free as possible, we opted not to add a
drag handle, but instead encourage our customers to just use the
shoulder straps instead should that need arise. The padded shoulder
straps feature a Velcro wrap that can be used to route commo wires and
hydration tubes. An optional cummerbund (not included) allows the
operator to greatly expand their load carrying options. As with the rest
of our products, the ATS Modular Plate Carrier is made entirely in the
USA of the highest quality components. |
